ARMONIA - Olympic Opening Ceremony - Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games

Balich Wonder Studio created ARMONIA, the opening ceremony of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, for Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026. The show was staged from San Siro Stadium and linked live with Cortina d'Ampezzo, Livigno and Predazzo.

The work stands out by rootedness in the original etymology of Armonia: "bringing together what is different."

2 Olympic cauldrons were lit, one at Milan's Arco della Pace and one in Cortina, host of the 1956 Winter Games. The production involved 2,900 athletes and 1,200 volunteers.
