Luka created a 5-hour choreographed dinner for 250 forest owners, ministers, EU institution leaders and Latvia's president, on behalf of the Latvian Forest Owners Association. The aim was to show how people and forests depend on each other.
Each dish was presented as an unexpected theatrical performance, where roles are reversed. Waiters, chefs, and stagehands with 0 dancing experience become “dancing trees” and forest inhabitants.
The hall turned into a 360-degree forest, food arrived in 750 handmade roots, stumps and nests, and every natural element was replanted or reused afterwards.
