Benoit Sauvage

Benoit Sauvage, DMCP, CMP Fellow, CITP, is an award-winning hospitality and destination management leader with 30 years of international experience across the global MICE industry. Born in Paris and having lived and worked across Europe, Africa, the Americas, and the Caribbean, he brings a truly global perspective to destination strategy, experiential design, and sustainable growth.

As Founder and Chairman of Connect DMC, a leading independent destination management company operating across Mexico, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, and expanding throughout Central America and the Caribbean, Benoit has built a reputation for high-end, bespoke programs combining creativity, operational excellence, sustainability, and meaningful local engagement.

Deeply committed to industry leadership and education, he has held senior roles with SITE and remains actively involved with ADMEI and EIC, advancing mentorship, standards, and industry development. Known for his entrepreneurial spirit and people-first leadership, Benoit creates experiences and destinations that do more than host, they inspire, connect, and transform.
