Gebert Janssen

Gebert Janssen is an international event professional, lecturer, author and speaker with more than twenty years of experience in the fields of events, hospitality and experience management. He is known as a specialist in event strategy, experience design and innovative event concepts, and advises organisations and educational institutions worldwide on innovation, value creation and the development of impactful experiences.

Alongside his own company, through which he develops and delivers international events and has received multiple international awards, he is active as a lecturer at business schools and is involved in the development of study programmes in several countries. Gebert is the author of multiple internationally used books on event management, including MICE and public events, as well as on new economic models. His work is characterised by a strong combination of academic insight and practical applicability.

Through his broad experience as an entrepreneur, educator and thought leader, he is regularly invited to serve as a jury member, keynote speaker and advisor for international projects within the event and hospitality industry.
