Erin Schneiderman

Erin Schneiderman, M.Ed. serves as the director of ASU's special event management and internship programs. After a 20-year career in the event management industry, she found a home in academia educating the next generation of aspiring event professionals. Schneiderman takes pride in creating partnership opportunities, matching students with community members and organizations. She is the co-advisor of the Tourism Student Association, co-leader for Study Abroad and trusted honors college mentor. Schneiderman truly enjoys collaborating with community organizations to ensure the special event management industry remains strong with talented new students joining each year. Some exciting programs she offers to students include the annual Super Bowl trip through the NFL Teammates Program, Innings and Extra Innings Festival, Phocuswright Conference, NASCAR Championship Weekend, WM Phoenix Open and more. Schneiderman is a four-time recipient of Eventex' Top 100 Influential People in the Event Industry awards, a Certified Special Event Professional and Certified Protocol Officer from the Protocol School of Washington.
