Dr James Morgan

Dr. James Morgan is a globally recognised thought leader and innovator in the tourism, hospitality, and events sectors. Dr. Morgan has been consistently voted as one of the world’s 100 Most Influential People in the Event Industry in the Eventex Awards. He is the Principal Consultant in Tourism and Hospitality at Riyadh-based Jadarah Business Consulting. He is also the founder and principal consultant at the events consultancy James Morgan Associates. Previous positions include his consultancy at the Riyadh Exhibitions Company, the oldest expo organizer in Saudi Arabia, and as Dean of the International Tourism and Hospitality College in Riyadh.

He has over 30 years of experience in experience design in the events, hospitality and tourism sectors. He created the world’s first MA Event Design for the University of Westminster in London. He has a PhD in Tourism Development and Destination Regeneration. He is also the founder of non-profit Event Tech Lab, a partnership community for event technology companies, and a council member of Creative UK representing the interests of the events sector to the UK Government. As a truly international professional, he is a celebrated international speaker, event host, and awards judge.
