The time has again come to lift the veil on this year’s most influential people in the events industry. The Most Influential People in the Events Industry index features the most exceptional individuals from around the globe who have made an impact with their creativity, vision, and capacity for innovation. For a second year, we are again acknowledging the most influential individuals by sector and region, recognizing industry expertise as well as regional impact.  

Notable index stats & facts

This Eventex index is the work of the public, with members of the events community first getting to nominate and then vote for their favorite events industry superstars.   

As many as 1086 individuals were nominated for The 100 Most Influential People in the Events Industry, and a massive 26,685 votes cast on our Evalato-powered public voting portal determined the final list. Other notable statistics about the index include: 

• The top 3 countries represented in the index include the US with 25 individuals, followed by UAE and the UK with 14 and 8, respectively. 
• Some of the most notable organizations whose employees made the list include Heineken Group - Brazil, IMEX Group, MCI Middle East, George P Johnson, VOK DAMS worldwide, RainFocus, BW Events, Kenes Group, Amazon Web Services, and Bizzabo. 
• As many as 33 members of the Eventex Awards 2025 jury are featured in the index.
