Eventex Awards Integrity Standards

Recognition only matters if it's earned. An Eventex award signals excellence to clients, peers, and the wider industry, and that signal is only as strong as the process behind it.

Eventex Awards Integrity Standards

Recognition only matters if it's earned. An Eventex award signals excellence to clients, peers, and the wider industry, and that signal is only as strong as the process behind it.

Our four principles

Entries are published in full, along with their overall scores. Nothing about the result happens behind closed doors.
  • Authentic work.

Every entry represents a real project, submitted by those with the right to enter it.

  • Accurate claims.

Results, figures, and descriptions are true and not misleading. If a claim can't be backed up, it doesn't belong in the entry.

  • Impartial judging.

Scores reflect the work itself, not relationships, reputations, or one juror's scoring habits.

  • Full transparency.

Entries are published in full, along with their overall scores. Nothing about the result happens behind closed doors.

Open by design

Every Eventex Awards entry is published in its entirety, together with its overall score. Anyone can see the work, the case behind it, and how it performed.
That openness is a safeguard in itself. Because every entry is public, every claim is open to scrutiny from the entire industry, including clients, peers, and competitors.
The one exception is the confidential section of the entry form. Use it for commercially sensitive details you want the jury to weigh but not the public to see. That section is visible to jurors only and is never published.

What we ask of entrants

Before submitting, every entrant agrees to the Eventex Awards entry waiver. Among other terms, you confirm that:
All information in your entry is true, accurate, and not misleading
You have the right to submit the entry
The required approvals are in place from the entry owner or client, your management, and every partner or company credited

How entries are reviewed

Entries go through AI-assisted checks, always paired with human review. Technology helps us spot what needs a closer look. People make the call.

If any information needs further verification, or a detail is unclear, we contact the entrant directly. Clarification always comes before conclusions.

How judging stays fair

  • Every juror agrees to the jury waiver before judging begins.

  • When a juror has a connection to an entry, it's flagged and the juror recuses themselves from scoring it.

  • Jurors evaluate subsets of entries, so a stricter or more generous scorer could tilt results. Score normalization fixes this by standardizing each juror's scores, so every entry is measured on the same scale. We've used it since Eventex Awards 2023, powered by Evalato. See how score normalization works.

  • The Eventex team reviews voting activity every day throughout judging and follows up on anything unusual right away.
