
Ryan Kruger is Vice President, Festivals & Events at Oilers Entertainment Group (OEGSE), where he leads the creation and growth of large-scale festivals and live events across Edmonton’s ICE District and beyond. With more than 30 years of experience in the live entertainment industry, Ryan has built, scaled, and produced some of Canada’s most iconic festivals, from grassroots raves to internationally recognized brands.
At OEG, he is spearheading a multi-year strategy anchored by signature festivals in electronic, country, and rock music, including Boots & Hearts West, DSTRKT, Igloofest Edmonton, and Zamna Canada. He is also part of the leadership team advancing a landmark $240 million indoor/outdoor music hall development in the ICE District, a transformative project set to redefine live entertainment in Edmonton.
Previously, Ryan founded Destiny Events in Toronto and went on to head Electronic Nation at Live Nation Canada where he created and produced the Digital Dreams Music Festival and co-founded Ile Soniq in Montreal. Ryan also founded the Vujaday Music Festival in Barbados before joining AREA15 in Las Vegas in a senior leadership role. Known for blending vision with disciplined operations, he consistently delivers high-impact events that drive both cultural and economic value.
