The 2024 Seoul Lantern Festival turned Cheonggyecheon into a celebration of Korean culture and light. With 242 lanterns using traditional hanji paper and digital tech, the theme "Play with the Light of Seoul" blended old and new.

Traditional scenes showed royal parades and games, while modern displays featured pop culture and interactive art. Big highlights included underwater screens and projectors, a 24-panel game board, and 15-meter LED structures of Korean heritage.
