The Most Influential People in the Events Industry powerlist recognizes exceptional individuals from around the globe who have made an impact with their creativity, vision, and capacity for innovation.

The annual Eventex powerlist is decided entirely by the events community that first nominates and then votes for the outstanding individuals they believe have influenced the industry the most.

EVENTEX POWERLIST 2025

With 2,000+ nominations from 70+ countries annually, the Eventex Powerlist is the most comprehensive community-driven global recognition of event industry professionals.

Decided entirely by the events community through open nominations and voting, only 100 professionals make it to the main list, with an additional selection featured across regional or specialty lists.

Methodology

The list for the public vote will include all nominations, submitted during the official nomination period (October 20 – October 27, 2025). Late nominations (October 27 – November 7, 2025) will also be included, however, they will have less time to collect votes.

We will get in touch with all nominees to inform them of their nomination and let them know about the next steps.

The public voting will take place between October 27 and November 7, 2025.

All voters will have the opportunity to vote for up to 10 people.

The public vote is restricted to people from the events community, whereby submitting a vote, voters declare that they are part of the events or a related industry.

The list of The Most Influential People in the Events Industry will be determined based on the votes received.

If there are equal results, the person with more nominations will have an advantage. In the case of equal votes and nominations, both individuals are included in the ranking.

The results will be published in alphabetical order in the second half of November 2025.

Methodology

The list for the public vote included all nominations submitted during the official nomination period (October 20 – October 27, 2025). Late nominations (October 27 – November 7, 2025) were also included, with less time for collecting votes.

The public voting took place between October 27 and November 7, 2025.

All voters had the opportunity to vote for up to 10 people.

The public vote was restricted to people from the events community.

The list of The Most Influential People in the Events Industry has been determined based on the votes received.

In the case of equal results, the person with more nominations had an advantage. In the case of equal votes and nominations, both individuals have been included in the ranking.

The results are published in alphabetical order.

The powerlist is determined entirely by the events community who first get to nominate and then vote for the individuals they believe have the biggest industry impact.

Is the powerlist paid?

No. Getting nominated for and included in the Eventex Powerlist is completely free, and is based only on merit, industry presence, and influence.

How many people are nominated for the powerlist?

Nominations for the Eventex powerlist are open to event professionals from all over the world to ensure a global and comprehensive industry representation. This traditionally results in a wide pool of nominated professionals, usually over 2,500 from 80+ countries. Being nominated for the Eventex powerlist, however, does not mean or guarantee being included in the powerlist.

Will all nominated people be included in the powerlist?

No. Based on the powerlist methodology available above, only the individuals who have garnered the most votes will be included in the powerlist, with a select group featured across regional or specialty lists.
